Course Overview

The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Health and Social Care is designed for learners who wish to begin or further develop their careers within the Health and Social Care sector. It is ideal for individuals who may already be working in care settings and wish to enhance their skills, or for those who are looking to progress into management roles in the future.

This qualification provides a solid foundation in essential care principles, person-centred practices, communication, and professional development. In line with the Social Services and Well-being Act 2014, the course supports ongoing professional learning and equips learners with the skills to meet sector standards.

Upon completion, learners will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to apply for higher-level roles or continue their studies at Level 4 or degree level.
