Overview
The OTHM Level 8 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice is designed for senior managers, directors, and executives who have the authority and attributes to translate organisational strategy into effective operational performance.
This advanced qualification reflects the latest practices in strategic leadership, equipping learners with a high-level understanding of strategic management, leadership theory, and workplace application. It has a clear work-related emphasis, combining practical skill development with advanced theoretical fundamentals.
Upon completion, learners can progress to a university partner to submit a research proposal for a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration), DProf (Professional Doctorate), or PhD, or directly into senior executive roles.

Entry Requirements
This programme is designed to be accessible, with flexible entry criteria. Applicants must meet at least one of the following:
- A Level 7 Diploma or Master’s Degree in a related subject.
- In exceptional cases, experienced senior managers without formal qualifications may be accepted, subject to interview and evidence of ability to meet programme demands.
Minimum age: 18 years.

Learners must complete 5 mandatory units and select 3 optional units (total 180 credits).
